I am sooo obsessed with the texture and the flavor this vegan parmesan cheese has. The main ingredient that makes this truly a 5-star recipe is the nutritional yeast! It helps to achieve the cheese-like flavor and gives this ‘’parmesan cheese’’ golden yellow coloring.
I also made this recipe, using garlic powder but feel free to add some additional ingredients to the mix such as onion powder, dried herbs, other spices. Just mix and match!

Easy Vegan Parmesan Cheese Recipe
All you need is 4 ingredients, 5 minutes to make this flavorful vegan cheese.
- 1 cup cashew unsalted or almonds
- 3-4 tablespoon nutritional yeast flakes
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
How to make Vegan Parmesan Cheese
Mix all the ingredients in a food processor or blender. Blend until crumbly texture.
Transfer to a jar, cover with a lid and keep refrigerated for up to 2-3 weeks.
Use it to top up salads, nachos, pasta, soups and whatever you feel like is missing the tasty and cheezy parmesan flavor!
