    Oregano Mustard Vinaigrette

    Oregano Mustard Vinaigrette is an easy homemade salad dressing that’s full of flavor and can be made in minutes with common pantry ingredients that you sure have in your kitchen. Perfect for serving with pasta salads!

    A proper good salad dressing can seriously enhance and transform any salad. With even the simplest, only 2-3 ingredient salad can taste so much better with this Oregano Mustard Vinaigrette.

    But don’t trust my words, just try it for yourself!

    This recipe calls for dried herbs like thyme and oregano which are commonly already on hand. 

    And trust me,  the flavor is worth the little bit of effort it takes to make this easy recipe.

    Ingredients for Oregano Mustard Vinaigrette Dressing

    You’ll need 7 ingredients for this vinaigrette + salt, pepper according to your taste.

    • thyme dried
    • oregano dried
    • balsamic
    • fresh lemon or lime juice
    • olive oil
    • Dijon mustard 
    • maple syrup
    • salt and pepper to taste

    How to make Oregano Mustard Vinaigrette

    It's super easy and will only take you 5 minutes.

    In a jar or a small bowl mix all the ingredients well with a whisk or by shaking the jar.

    Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes or add it straight into your salad and then let the salad soak in the flavors for a bit before serving.

    Perfect to serve with my Pasta Salad With Cheddar Cubes!

    That’s it!

    This recipe is for one salad (for approximately 3- 4 portions). Increase the quantity depending on the size of the salad.

    Notes

    Store in the refrigerator. After the dressing has been refrigerated, let it come to room temperature before serving, or run the sealed container/jar under some warm water for a few seconds.

    INGREDIENTS

    • ½ teaspoon thyme dried
    • 1 teaspoon oregano dried
    • 1 teaspoon balsamic
    • ½ teaspoon fresh lemon or lime juice
    • ½ cup olive oil
    • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
    • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
    • salt and pepper to taste

    INSTRUCTIONS

    • Mix all dry ingredients in a jar or a bowl. Add olive oil, maple syrup, balsamic, mustard, and citrus juice. Shake or mix well and serve with your favorite salad.
    • Serve!
