A proper good salad dressing can seriously enhance and transform any salad. With even the simplest, only 2-3 ingredient salad can taste so much better with this Oregano Mustard Vinaigrette.

This recipe calls for dried herbs like thyme and oregano which are commonly already on hand.

You’ll need 7 ingredients for this vinaigrette + salt, pepper according to your taste.
- thyme dried
- oregano dried
- balsamic
- fresh lemon or lime juice
- olive oil
- Dijon mustard
- maple syrup
- salt and pepper to taste

How to make Oregano Mustard Vinaigrette
It's super easy and will only take you 5 minutes.
In a jar or a small bowl mix all the ingredients well with a whisk or by shaking the jar.
Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes or add it straight into your salad and then let the salad soak in the flavors for a bit before serving.

This recipe is for one salad (for approximately 3- 4 portions). Increase the quantity depending on the size of the salad.
Notes
Store in the refrigerator. After the dressing has been refrigerated, let it come to room temperature before serving, or run the sealed container/jar under some warm water for a few seconds.

Oregano Mustard Vinaigrette
INGREDIENTS
- ½ teaspoon thyme (dried)
- 1 teaspoon oregano (dried)
- 1 teaspoon balsamic
- ½ teaspoon fresh lemon (or lime juice)
- ½ cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup
- salt and pepper (to taste)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Mix all dry ingredients in a jar or a bowl. Add olive oil, maple syrup, balsamic, mustard, and citrus juice. Shake or mix well and serve with your favorite salad.
- Serve!
