Roasted Whole Butternut  Squash

Roasted Butternut Squash

Wash and dry the butternut squash. Cut the tops and bottom off and cut the squash in half lenghtwise.

Prepare the brown sugar glaze in a small bowl.

Remove the seeds. You can also bake them together at the same time with the squash but on a side and  spread out on the baking sheet.

Brush generously with the glaze.

Place the butternut squash halves on a baking sheet with cut side down .

Bake 25 minutes at 425 F, flip, brush again and bake another 25 minutes.

Garnish with thyme and serve warm!
