In a medium bowl, mix salt, baking powder, cocoa powder, and flour.
In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar with a hand mixer for 4 minutes until fluffy.
Whisk in egg, milk, vanilla, and gel food coloring. Gradually mix in dry ingredients, fold in chocolate chips, cover, and chill for 1 hour.
The dough should be like playdough, easy to shape into balls. Preheat the Air Fryer to 325°F before baking.
Roll 1 heaping tablespoon of dough into a ball and place it in the air fryer. Bake for 5-7 minutes, then cool on a wire rack before storing.
