Crispy green beans tossed in butter, garlic, and lemon zest—an easy, flavorful side dish!
Rinse green beans, trim ends, boil in salted water for 3-4 minutes, then transfer to an ice bath. Drain and pat dry.
Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet. Sauté shallots for 2 minutes, then add garlic for 30 seconds.
Stir in green beans and lemon zest, cooking until warmed through.
Season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
