Sautéed cabbage is a flavorful side, caramelized with tomato paste, carrots, and onions to golden perfection. So delicious, you'll want more!
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté onions for 2-3 minutes, then add carrots and cook for another 3 minutes.
Add cabbage and sauté for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Push cabbage aside, add tomato paste, and cook for 1 minute until caramelized.
Season with salt, pepper, and sugar. Stir everything together, then pour in water and reduce heat to low.
Cover and braise for 25 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with sour cream. Enjoy!
