Slice kielbasa into medallions and drain sauerkraut. In a skillet, melt butter, brown kielbasa over medium heat, then set aside.
In the same skillet, sauté onions in butter for 5 minutes. Add sauerkraut and black pepper, cooking until heated.
Return kielbasa to the skillet, stir to combine, and serve. Optional: Add sour cream for extra flavor!
