Cabbage  Casserole With Ground Beef


This cabbage casserole with ground beef has it all - easy and budget-friendly ingredients, it's cheesy, fulfilling, and has all the flavors of cabbage rolls.

Saute onion and carrots. Add beef and cook until browned.

Add garlic and cook until it becomes ​fragrant.

Add black pepper, sugar, salt, sweet paprika, cajun, tomato sauce, and chopped tomatoes.

Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 10 min. Once cooked, transfer the beef mixture to a deep pot. Stir in the rice.

Saute cabbage until softened.

Once done, combine with the beef mixture and add to casserole in layers.

Top with mozzarella and bake for 40 minutes at 350F.

Serve with fresh herbs.
