INGREDIENTS
1-2teaspoonsugar brown, add more if unripe fruit
1teaspooncinnamon
¼teaspooncardamom
¼teaspoonfresh chopped ginger
3mediumpears, peeled and cut into chunks
1mediumapple, peeled and cut into chunks
⅔cupwater
INSTRUCTIONS
Add all ingredients into a slow cooker or multicooker.
Choose the ‘’slow cooker’’ setting and adjust the timer to 3 hours.
When ready simply mash with a potato masher, leaving large chunks inside (for more rustic texture). Or use an immersion blender/blender for smoother butter.
