INGREDIENTS
  

  • 2 cup Quick oats
  • 2 Banana
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoon Honey, (use maple syrup for vegan option)
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 6 tablespoon Seed mix
  • 3 tablespoon Cashew, chopped
  • 3 tablespoon Dried Apricot, diced
  • 3 tablespoon Dried Cranberry, diced
  • 4 tablespoon Coconut oil
  • Pinch of salt

INSTRUCTIONS
 

  • Warm up the oven to 350 °F. Place the oats on a baking sheet lined with a parchment paper and bake until golden and aroma. (5-7 minutEs)
  • Chop the fruits into small cubes but not too small.
  • In a large mixing bowl combine baked oats, salt, seed mix, nuts, and cinnamon, stir well.
  • Cut the banana into small circles and muddle with a fork until its fully mashed. Add coconut oil and stir well.
  • Add this mixture to the rest of the earlier combined ingredients.
  • Follow with baking powder and dried fruits, mix well.
  • Transfer the mix to the baking sheet on a parchment paper.
  • Press firmly (using hands or a tablespoon) to create an even surface that is approximately half-inch thick.
  • Bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
  • Let it completely cool down and cut into rectangular pieces.
  • For decoration pour over some white or dark hot chocolate (optional).

NOTES

You can add your favorite dried fruits or nuts to this recipe. One or more fruit options both will work well. 
Storage: Granola bars can be stored in an airtight container, in a cool, dry spot for six months. You can also freeze granola bars just as you would cookies or other treats - just wrap firmly in a baking paper and add a layer of cling film, and pop into container in the freezer.
PRO TIP: For dried fruits - never eat them right from the package, they have tons of harmful toxins sprinkled on them (unless organic). To get rid of them, place your dried fruits in warm water for at least 30 minutes. Then take the fruits out and let them air dry. Only after that eat them or use them in baking.
