INGREDIENTS

Salad

  • 1 can tuna, drained
  • ½ oz pasta, Gluten free, if preferred
  • 12 cherry tomatoes, half
  • 1 red onion, diced
  • 12 black olives, sliced, pitted
  • 2 handful of fresh basil for salad and garnish, chopped

Dressing

  • 5 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice , (½ lemon)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black ground pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Cook pasta according to instructions on the package. Let cool.
  • In a serving bowl or separate bowl, separate tuna chunks into smaller pieces using a fork. For salad dressing, simply mix all the ingredients in a jar, close the lid and give it a good shake.
  • Stir in all the rest prepared salad ingredients and drizzle with Salad dressing, toss to coat. You can serve this salad warm or chilled.

NOTES

Best served chilled.
If using Gluten free pasta for salad, it's best to eat it right away as the pasta has a tendency to harden after a while. So always best consumed fresh (if served as a cold dish).
