Stir in turmeric powder, then add rice, ensuring even coating and light toasting.
½ teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 cups basmati rice
Pour in stock, season with salt and pepper, then mix well and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover with a lid, and simmer for 15 minutes.
1 ½ cups chicken stock, ¼ teaspoon salt, A pinch of black pepper

NOTES
To Store. Leftover cooked rice can be stored in an airtight container for up to 4 days in the fridge or 3 months in the freezer.
To Reheat. To reheat, sprinkle with water, cover with plastic wrap, and microwave on medium power for a few minutes. Alternatively, reheat in a saucepan on the stovetop. If frozen, thaw overnight in the fridge before reheating.
