Ingredients

For the Dip
  • 8 ounces of cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoon taco seasoning homemade
Toppings (optional)
  • 1 cup crunchy lettuce
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes
  • ½ cup sliced black olives
  • 2 tablespoons green onions

Method

  1. With an electric mixer on medium, beat together cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning.
8 ounces of cream cheese , 1 cup sour cream, 2 tablespoon taco seasoning
  2. Transfer the dip into a serving dish (I used a 9-inch round dish), and even the top out with a spatula. Cover and let chill in the fridge for 30-40 minutes for flavors to blend more.
  3. When ready to serve, add your toppings: lettuce, shredded cheese, olives, green onion, diced tomatoes.
1 cup crunchy lettuce, ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese, ½ cup sliced black olives, 2 tablespoons green onions, ½ cup diced tomatoes
  4. We like to serve it with crackers, tortilla chips, or veggie sticks.
  5. This dip can be stored in the fridge, covered, for up to 3 days. However, I recommend keeping the toppings separately.
