Ingredients
  

  • pounds fresh green beans trimmed
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter or 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 garlic
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

  1. Fill a large pot with salted water and bring to a boil.
  2. Add green beans and cook 3–4 minutes until bright green and just tender. Drain immediately and set aside.

  3. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in garlic and cook 10–15 seconds until fragrant.

  4. Add green beans to skillet. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper.

  5. Toss and cook 3–5 minutes until glossy and evenly coated. Remove from heat and serve warm.
