3tablespoonsunsalted butter, or 2 tablespoons olive oil
2garlic
½teaspoonsalt
¼teaspoonblack pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
Fill a large pot with salted water and bring to a boil.
Add green beans and cook 3–4 minutes until bright green and just tender. Drain immediately and set aside.
1½ pounds fresh green beans
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in garlic and cook 10–15 seconds until fragrant.

Add green beans to skillet. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper.

Toss and cook 3–5 minutes until glossy and evenly coated. Remove from heat and serve warm.
