INGREDIENTS
  

  • pounds fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, or 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 garlic
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

INSTRUCTIONS
 

  • Fill a large pot with salted water and bring to a boil.
  • Add green beans and cook 3–4 minutes until bright green and just tender. Drain immediately and set aside.

  • In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in garlic and cook 10–15 seconds until fragrant.

  • Add green beans to skillet. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
    ½ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Toss and cook 3–5 minutes until glossy and evenly coated. Remove from heat and serve warm.
