Notes
- Nutrition is calculated just for sausages and will depend on the specific brand you'll choose.
- Avoid piercing holes in the sausage—this isn't a potato! Piercing allows juices to escape during air frying, resulting in a messy bottom and dry sausage.
- To prevent potential smoking, especially with fattier sausages, place a piece of parchment paper at the bottom of your air fryer to catch drippings. This also makes cleanup easier!
- To Store. Leftover sausage can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- To Freeze. Freeze cooked sausages for up to 2 months, just like any other cooked meat. If desired, wrap them individually in plastic wrap to prevent sticking.
- To Reheat. To reheat, simply warm and crisp up the sausages again in the air fryer for a shorter amount of time.
