Cottage Cheese Jars (Easy High-Protein Lunch Idea)

These easy cottage cheese jars are packed with protein and made with tomatoes, fresh dill, and a creamy yogurt or sour cream dressing. Ready in just 5 minutes.
Servings: 1 serving

Ingredients
  

  • ¾ cup cottage cheese about 170g
  • 2 –3 tablespoons sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 –3 cherry tomatoes diced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill chopped
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Add the cottage cheese and sour cream (or Greek yogurt) to a small jar or bowl.
  2. Stir in the diced cherry tomatoes and fresh dill.
  3. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  4. Enjoy immediately or cover and refrigerate until ready to eat.

Notes

  • Add sour cream/yogurt until you get the texture you like. 
  • Fresh dill really shines here, but chopped chives or parsley work well too. Use dried herbs if you don't have fresh.
  • Taste your cottage cheese before adding salt, as some brands are saltier than others.
