Crispy Baked Feta Rolls in Air Fryer

These crispy baked feta rolls in the air fryer are a delicious, easy twist on traditional feta dishes, with a golden, crunchy exterior and creamy feta center, topped with cranberry sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 5-6 ounces feta cheese cut into 4
  • 4 tablespoons cranberry sauce
  • 4 pieces wheat tortilla 8 inches
  • ¼ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon milk
  • Olive oil spray for air frying

Method
 

  1. Prepare the feta: Cut the feta into 4 equal pieces and blot with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
    5-6 ounces feta cheese
  2. Assemble the rolls: Lay out 4 tortillas. Place one piece of feta on each, then sprinkle with a pinch of oregano and red pepper flakes. Lightly spray with olive oil and add 1 tablespoon of cranberry sauce on top.

  3. Roll the tortillas: Roll each tortilla like a burrito.
  4. Prepare the egg wash: Mix the egg yolk and milk. Using a pastry brush, brush the tops and edges of the wraps with the egg mixture. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.

  5. Air fry: Place the rolls in the air fryer basket and cook at 356°F (180°C) for 9-10 minutes, or until golden brown.

Notes

  • To Store. Once the rolls have cooled, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
  • To Reheat. To reheat, pop them in the air fryer or oven at 350°F for 3-5 minutes to ''refresh'' the tortilla wrap.
