INGREDIENTS
  

For Salmon

  • 2 salmon fillets, I used frozen and thawed them
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika, you can use smoked paprika
  • olive oil spray

For Hot Honey

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons honey, or maple syrup
  • 3 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon ginger, grated or minced

INSTRUCTIONS
 

  • Preheat the oven to 450°F.
  • Cut the salmon into bite-sized pieces. Remove the skin if preferred.

  • Season the salmon pieces with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Lightly spray them with olive oil.

  • Arrange the salmon on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 6-8 minutes or until the tops are golden brown and the salmon is cooked through.
  • Meanwhile, in a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the hot honey ingredients: honey, hot sauce, ginger, butter, soy sauce (if using). Stir occasionally until the sauce is warmed through and slightly thickened.

  • Toss the baked salmon bites in the hot honey sauce until fully coated.
  • Serve immediately with rice, cauliflower rice, or steamed veggies for a healthy and flavorful meal. Enjoy!
