These Air Fryer Steak Bites are juicy, garlicky, and absolutely perfect for a quick dinner-ready in just 15 minutes. Tossed in a simple marinade and finished with garlic butter, they're a must-try for steak lovers.

I love pairing them with crispy potatoes or sautéed mushrooms for a satisfying, balanced meal.

Ingredients

  • Ribeye steak - I like ribeye because it's rich, juicy, and tender even in bite-sized pieces. Sirloin also works great.
  • Salt and pepper - Classic and simple, just enough to season without overpowering.
  • Garlic powder - Adds a little punch and warmth to every bite.
  • Avocado oil - High smoke point and perfect for air frying. Olive oil works too.
  • Worcestershire sauce - Just a splash adds umami and depth.
  • Butter - Melted butter at the end gives it that restaurant-quality finish.
  • Fresh parsley - Optional, but adds a pop of color and freshness. Totally worth it!
  • My favorite air fryer!

📋 You can find the full ingredient list in the Recipe Card below the article.

How To Make Air Fryer Steak Bites

  1. Preheat the air fryer: Set it to 400°F (200°C) and let it heat for 5 minutes.
  2. Cut the steak: Slice ribeye into bite-sized chunks and place in a mixing bowl.
  3. Season: Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Add oil and sauce: Drizzle avocado oil and Worcestershire over the steak, then toss to coat.
  5. Arrange in air fryer: Place the steak bites in a single layer in the basket. Don't overcrowd-cook in batches if needed.
  6. Cook: Air fry for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway through. Aim for medium doneness or adjust based on your preference.
  7. Rest and butter: Let them rest for a few minutes, then toss with melted butter.
  8. Garnish and serve: Sprinkle with chopped parsley and enjoy!
  9. I like to serve it with roasted potatoes, asparagus and mushrooms.

Tips

  • Use a tender cut - Ribeye, sirloin, or filet mignon work best for juicy results.
  • Slice evenly - Even bite-sized pieces ensure even cooking.
  • Preheat matters - Always preheat the air fryer for better browning and texture.
  • Marinate ahead - Let the steak sit in the marinade for up to 24 hours for even deeper flavor.
  • Add mushrooms - Slice baby bella mushrooms and toss them in the same marinade for an easy veggie add-on.
  • Don't overcrowd - Leave space in the basket so the steak can crisp up, not steam.
  • Time and temp tips - Start with 6 minutes at 400°F, then check and add a minute or two based on doneness.
  • Make garlic butter - Mix butter with minced garlic and a pinch of salt for an extra-rich drizzle.
  • Add potatoes - Serve with air fryer potatoes or roasted sweet potatoes for a balanced plate.
  • Sauce it up - These bites are also great with chimichurri or a creamy horseradish dip.

Freezing And Storing Instructions

  • To Store. Cool completely and store in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge.
  • To Freeze. Freeze cooked bites in a single layer first, then store in a freezer bag for up to 2 months.
  • To Reheat. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F for 2-3 minutes, or warm gently in a skillet with a touch of butter.
