Every month there are a handful of dinners that somehow keep showing up on our table again and again.
Not because I'm running out of recipe ideas (occupational hazard 😂), but because these are the meals that fit real life.
They're easy enough for busy weeknights, healthy enough that I feel good serving them, and most importantly... nobody complains when I make them.
Here are the dinners I've been making on repeat lately.

Turkey Taco Skillet
I think I've made this at least four times this month.

Partly because it's quick and partly because I almost always have ground turkey hiding somewhere in the freezer.
The best part is that it never feels like leftovers. One night it's taco bowls, the next day it's wrapped into tortillas for lunch.
Family verdict: Everyone eats it. No negotiations required.
My shortcut: I chop the peppers while the turkey cooks. Sometimes I add cheese, and sometimes I just don't feel like it.
Chicken Quinoa Bowls

This is my "I should probably eat more vegetables" dinner.
The funny thing is nobody notices how many vegetables are actually packed into these bowls because everything gets covered in sauce anyway.
Kitchen note: I originally planned to make rice, but quinoa won because I already had some cooked in the fridge.
What surprised me: This accidentally became my lunch for three days straight and I wasn't even mad about it.
Ground Chicken Cabbage Stir Fry

I swear there is always cabbage in my fridge.
Always.
This recipe exists mostly because I constantly buy cabbage with good intentions and then need to use it before it turns into a science experiment.

Why it's on repeat:
- Cheap ingredients.
- One pan.
- Ready fast.
- My kind of dinner.
Ground Turkey Lettuce Wraps

These turkey lettuce wraps have become my post-workout obsession. They're high in protein, easy to meal prep, and perfect for those days when breakfast turns into lunch. 😂

These usually disappear before I even get a chance to sit down. I've learned my lesson and will definitely be making a double batch next time...
Lentil Bread

Ok, this one surprised me the most.
I originally made it because I was experimenting with high-protein baking.
I honestly didn't expect it to become one of the most popular recipes on the blog, but here we are.
I toast slices for breakfast, lunch, and sometimes late-night snacks when I should probably be sleeping.
Things I Learned This Month
A few random kitchen discoveries:
- The chicken quinoa bowls reheated way better than expected.
- I need to stop underestimating cabbage.
- 🍞Lentil bread disappears faster than regular bread in my house.
- One-pan dinners continue to win every single time.
- Nobody noticed when I used fresh vs pre-shredded cabbage. It's a win!
What I'm Testing Right Now
Not every recipe makes it onto the blog... and honestly, some probably never should. 😂
This month I've been experimenting with:
- Hearty white bean soup that I think is almost blog-worthy.
- Chicken burger bowls - currently in the "make again immediately" category.
- A zucchini recipe that looked much better in my head.
- Protein muffins that need a little more love.
- A salad nobody touched - even I wasn't excited about the leftovers.
I'll keep testing and let you know which ones earn a permanent spot in the rotation. 😉
That's what's been on repeat around here lately. Nothing fancy, just the dinners that make busy weeks a little easier. If you've made any of these recipes recently, I'd love to know which one earned a spot in your regular rotation too.
