Tequila Sunrise Ingredients
You only need 4 key ingredients to make this recipe. You can create a 🌅 sunrise look by adding grenadine right into the glass before serving. Or just mix it in the jug like I did.
- Orange juice - For the freshly squeezed juice, you'll need about 2-3 large oranges. Store-bought freshly squeezed orange juice is also an option in a pinch.
- Grenadine syrup - This deep red non-alcoholic syrup adds sweet flavor and a deeper orange hue to this sunrise mocktail recipe. You definitely get that sunrise effect when you combine orange juice and grenadine.
- Lime juice - The acidity of freshly squeezed lime juice helps to cut through some of the sweetness in this simple cocktail.
- Pineapple juice - Choose one medium-sized pineapple that is firm to the touch, smells sweet, and doesn't have bruises or dark spots.

How To Make Tequila Sunrise Mocktail
- Fill a glass with ice cubes. Add ice cubes to your preferred type of glass. A highball glass or another tall glass is perfect for this easy sunrise mocktail.
- Add the freshly squeezed juices. Pour the freshly squeezed pineapple juice into the glass, then lime and orange juice.
- Add the grenadine. Slowly pour the grenadine syrup over the back of a spoon into the glass. This allows the syrup to "float", creating the sunrise effect. Enjoy!
- Garnish and serve. Garnish your virgin tequila sunrise with sliced lime, orange, or pineapple, and enjoy!
This stunning and sweet sunrise mocktail is one of the best alcohol free tequila drinks I've tried! It makes for a sip-worthy treat for brunch, special occasions, pool parties, and summer BBQs.

How To Make This Sunrise Mocktail Ahead of Time?
Combine all ingredients except the ice cubes, and store the mixture in a jug in the fridge for 1-2 days before serving.
