  • Watermelon Chunks - Fresh and juicy watermelon, cut into small pieces, forms the base of this refreshing slushie. If you want this drink to be thicker, use frozen watermelon cubes.
  • Honey - Adds a touch of natural sweetness to enhance the flavor of the watermelon. You may leave it out if the watermelon is super ripe and sweet already.
  • Mint Leaves - Fresh mint leaves offer a burst of aromatic flavor and a beautiful finishing touch.

Tips

  • Note: You can customize this recipe by adding other fruits like strawberries or pineapple for additional flavors. You can also add a splash of rum or vodka to make it a cocktail. Adjust the sweetness level according to your taste preferences.
  • Achieving the perfect slushie texture: Blend the ingredients until the mixture is smooth and slushy, with a consistency similar to a frozen drink. If it's too thick, add a little more ice or a splash of water; if it's too watery, blend in a bit more ice.
  • How to choose a ripe watermelon: Choose a watermelon that feels heavy for its size and has a dull, not shiny, skin. Look for a creamy yellow spot on the bottom, which indicates ripeness. It should also sound hollow when tapped.

🍹 Make Next: Tequila Sunrise Mocktail
